ictoria Zimmerman is a Registered Social Worker who has worked in the field for just under 10 years. Victoria has significant experience working with individuals with complex mental illness and addictions through her work at St. Joseph’s Healthcare. Her passion is supporting individuals and families that have a loved one experiencing significant mental health challenges, and specializes in helping them to navigate the health care system. Victoria also provides bereavement support to individuals and families who are grieving the loss of someone who has died by suicide. Victoria’s priority is to make you feel safe and heard, while working through your most challenging moments, and help you to identify and achieve your goals. She works from an attachment-based model, and practices with a trauma-informed lens while using a variety of modalities. Victoria strongly believes that it can be the most difficult of circumstances that can foster a place of immense growth, healing, resilience, and self-discovery. Victoria holds a Masters of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Work.
