andice Babbey is the owner and operator of Stoney Creek Counselling. She holds a Masters of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University (2003) and has been a practicing clinical social worker for over 20 years. Her specialty is working with people diagnosed with mental illness through her work at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and has a special interest in working with anxiety. She has completed additional training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Psychosis, addiction case work, Mindfulness training, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Narrative Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy). She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. In addition she holds memberships with EMDR Canada, EMDRIA, and the North American CBT for Psychosis Society.
